We suggest guests visit nearby Hartland Quay to see the slate cliffs and unique rock formations rising above the breakers rolling in from the Atlantic. Hartland Point and Lighthouse is another local spot for impressive views of the rocky coastline and the base for the Lundy Island heliport during the winter months. br / br / The award winning Docton Mill Gardens & Tea Room along with Hartland Abbey & Gardens are only a short drive away. Hartland Abbey and the surrounding grounds have been used as set locations for Sense and Sensibility The Night Manager and the film Guernsey to be released in 2018. br / br / There are three village pubs two small convenience stores two potteries a coffee shop and gallery in Hartland village.Our local restaurant Pattard Kitchen is less than a mile away. br / br / The world famous village of Clovelly with its meandering cobbled street leading to the harbour is a 4.5 mile drive or for those keen walkers among you take the coastal path. br / br / For those guests wishing to explore further the RHS Gardens at Rosemoor Tapeley Park GardensDartington Glass & Arlington Court are also popular places of interest.

Our delightful 19th century Farmhouse is situated on a quiet country road approximately 1 mile from the village of Clovelly and the South West Coastal footpath. By staying close to the village you have the chance to visit early in the morning or enjoy a leisurely dinner when the tourists have all gone..then it s just you and a few locals! br / br / br / br / There are many beaches both sandy (Bude or Westward Ho!) or small rocky coves in easy reach.
