Inner Hope Beach is situated just north of Bolt Tail on the South Devon coast.
West-facing the sandy beach lies adjacent to the harbour and is sheltered by The Old Priest rocks to the north and Bolt Tail to the south. The beach lies within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and is also part of the South Devon Heritage Coast.
RNLI Lifeguards patrol the beach between May and September from 10am to 6pm. Parking is available behind the beach and also at Mouthwell Sands (Outer Hope) just to the north. There are few other facilities here but all the usual facilities lie at Outer Hope (Mouthwell).
Public conveniences are located at Watchhouse Sands, 400m away at low tide from Inner Hope.
A 'Seasonal dog ban' operates here, Dogs are not permitted on the beach between 1st May and 30th September.
