Bachelor's Hall Mine, Devon

Princetown: grid reference SX597734


Located a mile southwest of Two Bridges on Dartmoor, Bachelor's Hall worked a number of narrow tin lodes from Engine Shaft, Ann Shaft and Footway Shaft. The mine commenced work in the 1790's but was closed again by 1800. Bachelor's Hall worked again between 1845-46 and again 1853 and 1862.
