Eylesbarrow Mine, Devon

Situated on Southern Dartmoor, about four miles southwest of Two Bridges, Eylesbarrow Mine worked three tin bearing lodes between 1814-1826. It was reopened between 1838 and 1844, when it was known as Dartmoor Consoldated Mines. In 1847 it was reworked, this time as Wheal Ruth, raising about 750 tons of tin ore working on and off until its closure in 1852. There are no detailed records of production.
