Holne Chase Mine Mine, Devon

Holne Chase Mine is an ancient mine situated on the southern slope of a hill in Chase Wood about two and a half miles northwest of Ashburton. It worked a tin lode and its only record of production is 5 tons of black tin in 1875.

The old Holne Chase Mine was also recorded as assaying gold at 7.5 grams per tonne, this was found in the auriferous gossan or growan.
