Silverbrook Mine, Devon

Silver Brook Mine lies just to the southwest of Ilsington, near Bovey Tracey on eastern Dartmoor. The mine was at work in the mid 1850's and extracted ore via Engine Shaft from a pair of NE-SW lodes using a 20-inch pumping engine erected in November 1852, a 10-inch winding engine (whim) and a crusher.
