Watson's Mine Mine, Devon

A component part of Devon Great Consols in the Tamar Valley, part of the West Devon Mining District. The mine situated about a mile northeast of Gunnislake on the eastern banks of the River Tamar. To its south east lay Bedford United Mine, whilst to its east lay the sett of Colcharton Mine and the River Tavy. Watsons Mine worked from Watson's Shaft, Whim Shaft and Bawden's Shaft.
