Whitstone Mine, Devon

Whitstone Mine lies four miles northeast of Milton Abbot, near Lydford in West Devon. Little is known about this mine save that it raised 161 tons of manganese ore between 1882 and 1884 as well as 154 tons of ochre in 1899
