Bickington village, Devon
Bickington is a village and civil parish in the Teignbridge district of South Devon. It lies on the southern edge of the Dartmoor National Park and had a population of 311 in the 2001 Census.
The village is about five miles west of Newton Abbot, on the River Lemon. The church is 15th century; its lychgate has a room over it.
Bickington should not be confused with the village of High Bickington near Barnstaple or abbots Bickington near Holsworthy.
