The ground floor boasts a warm and lively feel, where guests can enjoy their meal in style whilst watching our Michelin-starred Head Chef Darren Brown and his skilled team at work in the open kitchen. The first floor dining room is more intimate and calm offering stunning views over the Estuary, whilst the luxurious cocktail lounge on the second floor is the perfect place for a glass of champagne before your meal, or a liqueur afterwards.

Here at the Restaurant Angélique, we use local, regional and seasonal produce in order to provide our customers with the best Dartmouth and its surrounding areas has to offer. With several deliciously composed menus to select from, Restaurant Angélique is the perfect way to enjoy fine-dining in a charming and comfortable setting.

Please note that the check-in and collection of room keys is carried out at Restaurant Angélique which is located on the South Embankment, a 5 minutes walk away from the rooms. Please note however that all bedrooms start on the second floor and unfortunately we do not have a lift. All the rooms are non-smoking. The Royal Castle Hotel has a river view stylish and relaxed Grill Room restaurant with delicious food made from the best and freshest local produce. We offer two bars: our contemporary Harbour bar and our more traditional Galleon bar. Both have real open log fires burning in the winter.
