Details
The woodland and cottage gardens extend over 30 acres and include more than 1,000 well-labelled specimen trees and shrubs, 100 varieties of rhododendron, and over 1½ miles of woodland walks and paths. In recent years the gardens have been extended and now include the cottage garden, orchard and wild flower meadow.
Location: 7 miles northwest of Bovey Tracey. From Bovey Tracey take the road to Becky Falls and Manaton. Continue on the same road for 2 miles beyond village to Heatree Cross then follow signs to Heathercombe. (From Widecombe take the road past Natsworthy).
