Atlas Mine, Devon

Notable minerals: Cassiterite & Limonite.

Situated half a mile west of Ilsington, near Ashburton, this tin mine worked three tin lodes: Warren's Lode, White's Lode and South Lode from Sarl's Shaft and White's Shaft. and two iron ore lodes.

Mining historian H. G. Dines states that the mine produced 60 tons of black tin in 1890-93 and 1901-02; and 1,300 tons of brown haematite in 1864.
