Golden Dagger mine is situated just to the south of the Birch Tor and Vitifer sett in Central Dartmoor, just to the east of the Moretonhampstead to Tavistock road. The mine worked Golden Dagger Lode from Machine Shaft, Drawing Shaft and Crossman's Shaft. Production records report that between 1882 and 1914 - 220 tons of black tin were raised.
