Hemsworthy Mine is situated two and a half miles west of Ilsington near Bovey Tracey. Otherwise known as Haytor Consols the mine comprises an amalgamation of the former Crownley Parks, Bagtor, Wheal Somerset, Ilsington and Teignmouth Mines between 1851 and 1856. The mine worked North Lode, Middle Lode and South Lode from Old Engine Shaft producing 16 tons of black tin between 1853 and 1855.
