Corbyns Head
Corbyn's Beach lies just to the south of Torre Abbey Sands on the western side of Torquay in South Devon.
Southeast-facing the beach consists of reddish sand backed by a small café and some brightly painted chalets. Due to its proximity to the hotels and guesthouses Corbyn's Beach can become crowded in summer.
Smaller than its neighbour, Torre Abbey Sands, Corbyn's Beach has toilets located on the headland south of the beach. Seasonal facilities are clearly signed above the beach and include deckchair and sunlounger hire as well as the hire of the beach huts.
Lifesaving equipment is located behind the beach and the usual warning flag system operates here in adverse conditions. Disabled access is relatively easy via a ramp at the southern end and parking is available nearby.
A seasonal dog ban is in operation between May 1st and September 30th inclusive.
