Otherwise known as Devon and Bedford Mine, Colcharton Mine is situated just north of Gulworthy, about 2 miles southwest of Tavistock in West Devon. It worked an eastern extension of the Main Lode of Bedford United Mine which lies about 550 metres to the west. There are no records of output and the mine may best be looked upon as a prospect looking for copper.
