North Wheal Robert is located almost two miles southeast of the village of Whitchurch near Tavistock. The Mine worked together with East Wheal Robert, nearby Sortridge Consols was not linked to them and operated as an independent concern. The chief lode worked on was Main Lode although there were several other numbered lodes on the sett.
Production records for East Wheal Robert, including North Wheal Robert state that between 1853 and 1866: 10,732 tons of 7.5% copper ore, between 1864-66: 84 tons of black tin and also 2 tons of 75% lead ore in 1866 were raised.
