Walkham and Poldice is an old copper, tin and lead mine near to Grenofen Bridge in Sticklepath Woods just over a mile southwest of Whitchurch, Tavistock. The mine worked Copper Lode and Lead Lode from Engine Shaft and Air Shaft producing 5 tons of 65% lead along with 1 ton of black tin in 1865 and 25 tons of 4.5% copper ore in 1866.
