Whiddon Mine, Devon

Wheal Whiddon lies about 1.5 miles northwest of Ashburton. The mine aimed to extract tin, copper and manganese from a number of un-named lodes. It is reported to have been at work between 1836 and 1837 and again in 1849 but there are no records of ore output.
