The Poopdeck Restaurant, Brixham

Map showing The Poopdeck Restaurant, Brixham

This little quayside restaurant overlooking Brixham harbour and adjacent to Brixham Quay, has as its house speciality, need it be said... Seafood.

All the fish comes fresh off the boat and everything is superbly cooked to bring out the subtle texture and flavours of the different varieties of fish. Portions that leave nothing to the imagination, other than wondering how on earth you are going to navigate out of the restaurant at the end of the evening.

Favourites include: Field mushroom, sweet pepper and goats cheese, spicy fish cake with avocado and chilli salsa, and crab brisque with granary bread can set your evening off to a great start.

Specialities here include dishes such as Mediterranean crevettes sautéed in garlic butter, tiger tail king prawns cooked in chilli and coriander, or a selection of Brixham fish simply grilled and served with salad and crusty bread. You could also check on the specials board and the hot and cold platters for more exciting options.

The food has customers coming back time and time again. Whatever the occasion, you can be assured that you and your guests will have 'an eating experience' in one of the most fashionable and renowned seafood restaurants in Devon.
