Wheal Eliza, Lydford Mine, Devon

Situated about a mile to the south of Lydford and just to the east of Lydford Gorge, Wheal Eliza worked two lodes of copper as well as a lead lode - possibly the northern extension of the lead lode found at Wheal Betsy.
There is little information on Wheal Eliza apart from that it was unsuccessful and proably worked between 1840 and the mid 1850's. There are no records of output.
