South Friendship Mine, Devon

South Friendship Mine is situated a quarter of a mile south of Mary Tavy near Tavistock. Also known as Wheal Anne between 1846 and 1854, the mine worked an E-W trending copper lode from Engine Shaft and Mill Shaft. It worked intermittently from the 1820's until 1854.
The only recorded production was of 7 tons of copper ore in 1824.
